I'm an Animation Professor at LUCA School of Arts, campus C-mine in Genk, Belgium. I teach at the Re:Anima Joint Master in Animation and I'm a senior researcher at the Inter-Actions Research Unit. My research interests include philosophy of Technics, power relations inscribed in and reinforced by technical objects, and decolonial perspectives in animation. Previously, I was an Animation Professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Brazil. MFA and PhD by the Graduate Program in Arts at EBA/UFMG. 2009-May-08: Durian website online

Do you remember Orange, Peach and Apricot, right? Now there is another fruit in da house: Durian - the new Blender Foundation's Open Movie Project - has its website up.

This project will be a great test for the upcoming Blender 2.5, and I believe it will make some noise in the CG community. Even more than Big Buck Bunny did, IMHO, since it will also show the power of the awaited new Blender 2.5. :)

Blender Foundation will receive portfolios from artists around the world and chose a few (about 6) to work on this. Who's gonna try? ;)
