I'm an Animation Professor at LUCA School of Arts, campus C-mine in Genk, Belgium. I teach at the Re:Anima Joint Master in Animation and I'm a senior researcher at the Genk Research Unit, in the 'Critical reflections of and through animation' cluster. My research interests include philosophy of Technics, power relations inscribed in and reinforced by technical objects, and decolonial perspectives in animation. Previously, I was an Animation Professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Brazil. MFA and PhD by the Graduate Program in Arts at EBA/UFMG. Yes, I had a blog. Haven't updated it since 2011. Anyway, if you need something from there I have kept backwards compatibility and you can read it below.
But the cool news is that Speedbump Studios had put online the promo and also let we download the Bender model for free!! The downloads for Maya 7, Poser 6 or obj format. If you're a Blender user like me, you'll have to import the OBJ, tweak the model a little bit and, if you're in the mood of animating him, rig the robot. =D

Futurama returns
There's nothing new about the information that there a new Futurama season on the way.
Futurama is the best animation in my opinion!!!!!
